Bear Bottom

Staying at Bear Bottom was absolutely fantastic. The home was beautifully maintained and perfect for our group of three families — everyone of all ages had plenty of space to relax and enjoy themselves. Zero complaints. The game room was a huge hit, and the kitchen was so well‑equipped it made cooking for a big group genuinely enjoyable. The views were incredible, and seeing the Dollywood fireworks from the deck was an extra bonus that made our evenings even more special. It was also really cool to spot the occasional bear wandering through the neighborhood — a true Smoky Mountains experience. The location couldn’t be better, with easy access to either side of Gatlinburg. We loved every minute of our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

We were looking for beautiful property that can accommodate 12 of us. This property was exceptional. Having 6 master bedrooms each with master bath made each couple very comfortable. Property has beautiful views. Loved the decks with fire pits. I would definitely recommend it. Bit expensive but worth it.

We stayed at Bear Bottom for spring break with my extended family of 11. The cabin is modern and has all the necessities. Spices are not included, including salt and sugar, but they have all the kitchen items. The beds and pillows are sooo comfortable! We all enjoyed the game room each night with a pool table and many other games. The swim spa was large enough for all of us as well. The view is nice with a lots of outdoor space. Location is close to Gatlinburg and many restaurants and shops. Pigeon forge is also close by. The drive is winding for 10min up the mountain, but fully paved. The host company is very responsive to any requests or issues. Overall, a great stay!

For the 3rd year in a row, our annual couples trip was at Bear Bottom and it was perfection! The hosts are always responsive to questions both before and during our stay, even giving us updates on road conditions for our travels. We had an issue with the hot water and within an hour or so there was a plumber at the house resolving the problem on Super Bowl Sunday. I cannot recommend this house and these hosts highly enough! We are already booking again for next year! Huge thank you to Cloud 9 for giving us such a wonderful place to get away!

We loved this house! It was the perfect layout to accommodate all of our family and still have space to roam. The kiddos loved all of the gaming tables and especially the swim spa! We will be back again soon!
